I think I need to get a few pieces.  Watching Michael O'Connor on another channel. And wings do have a meaning for me, and I'd like to give one to my sister.  I have a number of crosses and that has meaning for me too.

Do you have a piece of jewelry that means something to/for you.

After my mom passed, I got a CZ heart ring in rememberance of her.  That's why I was wondering if you have a piece of jewelry or anything to remember a loved one that way.

When my grandmother passed away, she had a ring with five diamonds in it.  She had five grandchildren so my mom gave each us one.  I had mine set into a cross I sometimes wear.  I would love to find an angel setting for it though.  That would be pretty!

My favorite aunt had no children and I was her favorite niece.  She had beautiful jewelry, some inherited from my grandmother and some very expensive signed costume jewelry.

When she passed away, the other nieces who lived up north near her, swarmed her apartment before I could get up there for the funeral. They took everything of value they could find.

In the back of her nightgown drawer was a white leather jewelry box that I regognized from my childhood. When I opened it, the top was filled w/ costume jewelry, but a hidden drawer (only she had shown me) contained a beautiful double strand of pearls w/ a diamond clasp.

Of course, the other women saw costume jewelry & put it back. I always knew she intended me to inherit those pearls & hid them where she’d know I’d find them.

I have so many pieces of jewelry that I treasure. My grandma’s wedding band and engagement ring, my mom and dad’s wedding bands, my mom’s engagement ring, an beautiful amethyst ring my grandma gave my mom for her 16th birthday and I have a bracelet that I had made inscribed with my mom’s handwriting, it says “love, hugs & kisses mom”. This is how she signed every greeting card she gave me.

I am so sorry to read what happened!  But that is great that you were able to obtain the small jewelry box and got the lovely pearls!  Yes, it was meant to be and she indeed wanted you to have them!
