When my mother passed recently I took her Sarah Coventry pins she wore so many years ago.  They were of no value monetarily but the memories of her wearing them made me smile. I wore one on my dress at her funeral. She didn't have any jewelry of value anymore.

@KCDiva

I remember going to a home party for Sarah Coventry right after getting married.  I bought a pin and matching earrings and remember feeling so grown up ... lol

Leaving your jewelery to "heirs". If you want to do this,fine. But many people don't want or don't care for the products.I think it is just a way to sell,sell, sell!

well of course it is!

what do you expect--for them to say, hey you dummies, let's see if we can get you to believe that this crappy mediocre stuff is "heirloom-quality"?

@Kachina624 thank you, that's a wonderful compliment that you would think of gifting me something from your collection.
