Peyton, last year I wrote to you asking about when you would do diamond Star of David pendants. You said that maybe this year, 2016, we would see some and this has yet to happen. WHY??????????????? Also, for the five stone ring, please give me the GIAs on the one carat: color, clarity is fine. thanks, Roberta ps. why don't you always have color and clarty? We really need this information to decide if we want the item. At least I DO!!!
Hi @RobertaSZ, I worked with the Diamond Deparment on this and I haven't seen anything either. I am meeting with them tomorrow and will bring it up again. Please tune in for an answer.
At this time, I cannot give specific color and clarity but can describe in the best way possible. With the unaided eye, you cannot see any inclusions. Inclusions are noticeable to a skilled grader under 10X magnification. I know this isn't really what you want but it does give a good idea what the clarity is. The color is described as near-colorless. The body color of the stone does not have any hint of yellow or brown. Please take a look at some of the reviews. Many folks talk about having it appraised and what the outcome was. Thank you so much for your understanding. Best, Peyton

i soooooooooooooooooooooooo agree with you. iT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO TELL IF THE PRICE IS A VALUE OR NOT WITHOUT THAT KIND OF INFORMATION. Unless and until they tell us, I will be forced to assume h-l color and I1-I2 clarity. Wish they would tell us........................................

Peyton, while I appreciate that you read my note and responded with a heart, I would request more specific information. RECOGNIZING THAT IT IS FAR TOO LATE TO EXPECT ANYTHING THIS YEAR, 2016, ARE PLANS BEING MADE IN 2017 TO HAVE DIAMOND STAR OF DAVIDS? AND IF SO, WHEN AND IF NOT, WHY NOT????? I would very much appreciate a direct answer to my direct questions! thanks!

Hi @RobertaSZ, I know how important this is. We are working on a way to be able to mention the specific clarity and color grade. Thanks, Peyton

Hi @RobertaSZ, I am sorry if I didn't answer the question. I have been involved in design sessions where a Star of David was designed and the final sketch approved. I will follow up with the buyer and see when a sample will be here. I doubt it will be this year but I will push for early 2017..Thanks, Peyton

I purchased J333655, based in part on the color and clarity information that was provided in the on-air presentation. I can't find that information anywhere now, and Customer Service has not been able to help. I know Affinity diamonds have a specific range of color and clarity, but I can't get that information either. Peyton, can you help? I just want to know what I am buying.

Hello again, I have another question. If you could provide the color and clarity information during the presentation, why can't you provide it now? It doesn't make sense to sell a piece of jewelry and then tell the customer to go get appraised. If I can't get this info, I will have to return the ring, and I don't want to do that!

Hello @LaFayette, You picked one of the most beautiful rings we have ever done. We did not give specific GIA color and clarity grades on the diamonds in this ring. What we did say was that were eye clean, meaning when you look at them with the unaided eye, you cannot see any inclusions. The inclusions in the Emerald Cuts are minor and range from difficult to somewhat easy for a skilled grader to see under 10x magnification. The color of the diamonds is near colorless, which means there is no brown or yellow tint to the diamond. If you want to know a little more, the Emerald Cuts in your ring are from the same clarity and color parcel as in J333440. We are working on a way to be able to give more specific color and clarity information going forward. Thank you and let me know if I can help in anyway. Best, Peyton
