Affinity Diamonds on Thursday

Hi, There seems to be some confusion about the Holiday Rings that are launching tomorrow.

An email did go out with the TSV, which is a choice of a one carat or one half carat band ring.  Please read the reviews for J328667.   It is customer top rated, has over 100 five star review, and there are many reviews about having the ring appraised and finding out the value is much more than the price.  Many also talk about the GIA clarity and color grade they obtained.

The 2016 Holiday Rings will also launch tomorrow.   There is a choice of an Emerald Cut Design Diamond Ring or a Baguette and Round Diamond Ring.   The Band is not photographed yet but here is a photo of the Emerald Cut Ring.  They are both spectacular.  The J number for both Holiday Rings is J58680

Thanks, Peyton

Re: Affinity Diamonds on Thursday

Hello,

I have a request. For those of us that are picky about the color and clarity of a diamond, would you please tell the specific color and clarity of the piece that is offered. Eyeclean is not a description for diamonds to those of us that like specific grades of stones. I would never purchase a piece of diamond jewelry if that specific stone information is not given. Thank you.

@Peyton_Kelley - That 3 hour block of diamonds last night was the best I have seen in a very long time.  I appreciate you providing the color grade on the rings.  Going forward, please continue to provide that information since these are not small purchases.  I also adored that brown diamond solitare.  Please try to bring more of these in the future.  I hope I can take this as a sign of things to come since the jewelry of late has been disappointing to say the least and this was very refreshing (and I think successful for the Q).

Re: Affinity Diamonds on Thursday

Peyton, last year I wrote to you asking about when you would do diamond Star of David pendants.  You said that maybe this year, 2016, we would see some and this has yet to happen.  WHY???????????????  Also, for the five stone ring, please give me the GIAs on the one carat:  color, clarity is fine.  thanks,  Roberta  ps.  why don't you always have color and clarty?  We really need this information to decide if we want the item.  At least I DO!!!

Hello @CAMOGIRL, I would love to be more specific but a this point I do the best possible to describe them in terms that refer to color and clarity.   Please read the reviews, many of them address specific color and clarity grades that their appraisals have given them.  Others speak about their other rings they have bought with specific grades and the comparison between the two.  All the diamonds in both the once carat and half carat version do have the same quality.   I know that doesn't answer your question with specifics.   Did you see the two styles that we did call out VS2 or better and H color or better?  Thank you very much for posting.   Best, Peyton

@libbyannE, The best way to describe the color is near colorless which means there is no brown or yellow tone.   When viewed without a loupe or microscope there are no visible inclusions.  Inclusions are notcceable to a skilled grader under 10X magnification.  I hope that helps.   Please read the reviews for more specific information from folks who have bought the ring and either had it appraised or compared it to other rings they own.   Take care, Peyton

Hi @nycgrl, Thank you very, very much!   I really appreciate that.    Three hours with Rick goes by so fast especially when we have such gorgeous diamond jewelry.  Whenever possible, I do provide the actual GIA color and clarity on certain pieces.  I thought that the breath of assortment was unparallelled.   There really was something for all tastes and pocketbooks.   I know that many of these are considered purchases and once in a lifetime for so many of us.  The brown diamond solitaire is ever more beautiful in person.  The colors in the stone are amazing.  The Diamond and Colored Stone department is really working hard to bring differentiated product.   The new Gemstones that are coming up and the incredible Vault Discoveries are also exciting.  Thanks again and please keep me posted on our thoughts.  Best, Peyton
