ok, I am buying a big screen tv. sams, walmart and BEST BUY have the same tv. sams is cheaper by $10 but over all best buy is BEST BUY with the 20% coupon.

have heard different complaints on ability to return product at BB then I have heard no problems. people have taken things back after warranty and exchanged product.

what is everyones opinion. I have said TV in cart and ready to push the button but want to make sure the 20% cheaper price is not cheap if I run into problems and they are difficult to deal with
thanks

Buy the extended warranty, IMHO, because BB does NOT honor their regular warranty.

I've never returned anything to those stores. Are you planning on returning it?

Look into buying the item online (for in store pick up) and then you can get a rebate from Mr. Rebates or Ebates.com.

Jaxs mom -- I don't think she PLANS to return it, but is trying to make sure if there IS a problem, the store will make good on it. BB is horrible about it without buying an extended warranty.

My experience with BB is that they would not honor a manufactures warranty because I had not purchased their extended warranty.

wow, great to know guys.. their warranties are expensive. I heard square trade is a good place to buy warranties. opinions on this.

right jamacajammer, just trying to cover all bases here. the savings would be about $178 with the coupon.
not planning on returning. tv has good reviews but you know that lemon always sneaks in on ya.

so, if you had your choice, which place would YOU buy from

Stores don't normally honor manufacturers warranty's they have a specific return policy posted on their website and usually on their receipts. Usually it's 30 days. If you need warranty service you need to contact the manufacturer.

I don't know where you live but I've always found the best prices at Video Only. It looks like they are in Washington, Oregon and California.
