Ours last forever. I think it is how they are laundered. I wash mine in gentle cycle,cold water and rinse w/ white vinegar. Never put in the dryer.

I threw out all my throw rugs that had to be washed (and dried in my backyard). Last year I purchased 3 Weather Guard Door Mats from Bed/Bath. 3 different lengths and colors. I chose the diamond pattern - they have others. You just vacuum or hose them down. Love, Love, Love. Use a coupon - in the store or on-line.
