Re: going small for Christmas?

Nope. Not even close. But my sister is in a tiny apartment. She has never decorated for Christmas because her cat wouldn't allow it. Socks crossed over the Rainbow Bridge this year, now she can have a small Christmas tree. And curtains.

Re: going small for Christmas?

Nope, not for us.  We went out this past weekend and tagged our Christmas tree.  8 footer.  We will go and cut it down right after Thanksgiving. We may downsize at some point. Maybe when we are in our 90's! haha

Re: going small for Christmas?

I sold my artificial tree and all the decorations about five years ago,  I have some beautiful urns that flank the fireplace and lovely garland for the mantle.  I also have Christmas scenes that are one of a kind from a local ceramic maker which I display so it is quite lovely during the month of December.  Come Boxing Day, it all gets wrapped back up and stored for another year.  LM
