Re: do you decorate for Easter?

I do! I have a box o'bunnies that I pull out and place throughout the living areas of my home. When I'm out shopping, I'm always on the lookout for new ones. I no longer color Easter eggs but found some beautiful ones in a local store, so they're on display, too. It's always something I welcome after the dull and dreary days of late winter.

Re: do you decorate for Easter?

I do a little.  I have a male and female bunny that I put out every year.  They are about 18 inches tall.  I've had them for years (at least 20) and I picked them up, of all places, my local grocery store.  I also have a few bunnies and eggs that I use every year.  I have some eggs, very similar to the OG's that are on sticks.  I place them in some of my house plants.

Me too. I love everything that leads up to it, as Spring is unfolding. I love this time of year...the rebirth, the pastel colors, the flowers, the meaning of the holiday...all of it.

Re: do you decorate for Easter?

I put out my few Easter things this year for the first time in several years, and am enjoying them!

I have a few bunnies (some of which belonged to my late MIL). They're on my DR table. One large ceramic bunny on the mantle with a set of 6 eggs that spell out JESUS, with the 6th egg having a cross on it. I also have a bunny hanging on my back door that looks like a large decorated sugar cookie. On the kitchen island there is a resin Easter basket with two bunnies and Easter eggs displayed on a glass cake stand.

Yes, I decorate for Easter but just like Christmas, my decor represents the real reason so you won't see any bunnies, chicks, or the like.

Re: do you decorate for Easter?

I do...I have a couple of very nice felted bunnies and a duck, from an etsy seller.  She did a beautiful job but sadly not longer is supplying her store.

I also have a few 'dolls' that are bunny themed.  My mom always decorated so that is probably why I do, no one else I know puts anything 'eastery' out.

I have my mom's sugared eggs that have an Easter scene in them.  They are old, I am surprised they are still in good shape.

Today marks 35 years she has been gone.

Re: do you decorate for Easter?

I have tons of Easter decor.  I even have a huge bunny village with ceramic houses that light up.

I haven't put out any Easter stuff for a few years and didn't this year either.  I did put a wreath on the door.

I am just not into decorating anymore.

Yes, I do, but mostly on my fireplace mantle--and a few walls--have a tiny apt so not  much space . Have such cute decors --I do this seasonally. Next will be for summertime and will add a few things for the upcoming hoildays

Re: do you decorate for Easter?

No.  Only put up a patariotic wreath for summer.  A nativity set, 12-foot artificial tree and have the outside lights put up at Christmas.

I used to do a lot and got tired of it.  I like the house as it is better, and don't want to store it anyway.  I am very happy not to worry about decor now.
