I've only used Cascade Platinum and haven't had any issues. I've only had my dishwasher leak suds once ever and it was my own fault. I had a plastic basket that had dried liquid soap (I think a shower gel) all over it and didn't rinse it when I put it in the dishwasher, so it had all that soap AND my dish detergent pod. D'oh. I'll never do that again! Lucky for me it wasn't too messy and I did the dishes while I was watching TV instead of on my way to work or bed. A single medium-sized towel wiped up all the bubbles and no lasting damage was done to the wood floor.

We just purchased a new dishwasher and the cascade pods were recommended. I've run it 4 times now, and haven't noticed a problem. The one we replaced had all manner of "issues", which I think may have been caused by the old "powder" dishwasher detergent.

I use this product (have done so for over a year), and so far have not had a problem. I use only one pod, of course, and generally run the dw on the "light wash."

I've always used powder, Cascade in fact. Never had any problems. What kind of problems did you encounter? Maybe I should stop using the powder.

I use Cascade Complete pods and have never had a problem with oversudsing. (Knocking wood now that I've said that.)

i have been using them for over a year and i love them. i dont rinse dishes just scrap off any food all load dishwasher and everything comes out sparkling clean. maybe i got a bad batch and its a 80 use pods from bjs. i may just buy cascade complete liquid and put less in detergent cup. just over suding is my only issue.

i figured out why my cascade pods were over sudsing. i have a portable dishwasher and we moved so when i hook hose to sink hose is bent alittle so it wasnt draining good.i wondered if hoses was the issue. i now move dishwasher over alittle more and over sudsing has stopped.

My top of the line (?) dishwasher has always had its quirks, and at this point, I don't know what to try next.
If we use the capsule style DW detergents, they USUALLY but not ALWAYS melt.
When the don't melt completely, there is usually detergent residue in the surviving packet.
My big glass tumblers are never shiny-sparkly, and certain foods are always left on my dishwater.
SO, as I always say, as long as my dishes are "pre washed" in hot soapy water, they come out of my dishwasher as clean as a whistle!
