bethlehem lights woodland pine tree H 203055

I just put it up and it is so cute, but my ornaments do not look right on it, any suggestions on how to decorate it?  It has a lot of flocking and very white looking with a few pine cones on it. I looked at the tape and they do not really show it decorated. Thanks

They show 2 decorated versions in the pictures if that helps.

You don't say why you don't think your ornaments don't look right.  Are they too big, too small, too formal?  What's your decorating taste?

You could decorate with a lot of picks placed into the branches.  They have everything from leaves and berries that are natural or sprayed gold or even glittered or iced to ornaments on sticks.  With the flocking style of this tree I think I would go with a more natural look in ornaments.  I would definitely add in some long icicle type ornaments that you could find in either crystal or more of a glistening white finish.  You could even make burlap bows and garland if you're crafty.

@Lostandscared, That's a beautiful tree!  It really does look like something you'd find in the woods.  It has a very earthy look, so I can imagine that putting traditional ornaments on it may not look right.  I would recommend ornaments that are wooden and in a lighter color.  I've seen these type of ornaments at Hobby Lobby, and they are very inexpensive.  Also, ED on Air has this new set of wooden snowflakes (H205985) that I think would compliment the style of this tree.  Bird ornaments and bird houses would also look very pretty on this.  I think a natural theme would really suit this tree best.  Whatever you end up doing, I'm sure it will look beautiful.

I bought this same tree, but haven't taken it out of the box, yet. I agree with PeterDM that it needs a natural theme. I bought the Plow and Hearth cardinals in nests (6 per order) with clips. I think the red will be beautiful on this snowy tree. I will have to wait till I get it set up to decide what else I will decorate it with. I think a few red ornaments will be all. I feel like less is more with this tree. That's my vision for it. I'm sure it will be beautiful however you decorate it!
