I have not see it. They have the dispenser & refills with reviews on Amazon. How much was it at B&BW? Does it dispense too much soap? I find a full pump of their regular hand soap is sometimes more then I need.

Re: bbw -smart soap dispenser?

My mom has the Dial automatic soap dispenser and she likes it for cooking. I think it's a gimmick, though. It doesn't matter to me if the soap dispenser gets germs on it because after I touch it, I am immediately washing my hands. It's really the knob for the sink I worry about, since I have to touch that with dirty hands and then again with the hands I just washed. I have to use a paper towel to turn it off if I want to keep my hands clean of the germs I just washed off.

I always push up on the kitchen faucet with my arm & get a pump of hand soap by pressing with the side of my hand so I don't have to touch them. I always clean up the counters etc with clorox wipes anyways.

they were on sale-2/15.99, i think. that's dispenser and container of soap. it needs 3-4 aaa batteries. it looks good. they had about 6-8 different soap "flavors". i just need some gift for chrismas, for friends and it caught my eye.

Re: bbw -smart soap dispenser?

I have 2 automatic soap dispenser. One is good, the other is bad.  The good one is the Simplehuman 8 oz. Soap Dispenser in White.  It doesn't get clogged, and you can adjust the amount of soap that comes out.  The bad one is the Umbra Otto Automatic Soap Dispenser.  It gets clogged and doesn't work from time to time.  It now lives in the back of a closet.  I'm interested in seeing the B&BW one.

I had one of the automatic soap dispensers I hated it.  It never seemed to work right after about a week...It got tossed into the trash.

That would be a plus for me.  The others put out too much soap for me.

I would, but I have two twist knobs on my kitchen sink. I have to make contact to turn them on and then off again. Unless I use a paper towel, there's contamination. I clean up counters after I finish cooking, but I don't wipe the knobs down in between the time I turn the water on and then off again.

Re: bbw -smart soap dispenser?

I purchased a simplehuman soap dispenser last week and we love it. It's by no means an essential item, but it's more convenient that I had imagined.
