I really like this. It is different and I love the wall color. I do not like the wall art however......The centerpieces do look a little large, so maybe a bit smaller would be better so everyone can see each other, but I really like this overall.

For me, the table angle might work. The two arrangements and the wall color does not.

I think what I like is that it's a very traditional look. Typically our eyes/mind tend to expect a "typical layout", I think it adds a layer of interest and dimension to it. 

I love the rich wall  and ceiling color. And it makes me happy when anyone thinks to add appropriate overhead lighting!
