Re: Windchimes--- do you like them?

I have a set of bamboo windchimes in my lanai. I enjoy the sounds they make in the typical gentle breezes here.

I love windchimes. I have several different, unique ones hanging  in my backyard over the porch area.  The sound is light music and serene as they play into the wind.  Frankly, I am surprised, from reading the threads, that windchimes posed a problem for some people.   I used to see them in neighborhoods all the time..  What changed?

I do! Have some wonderful tone ones this year. We went all out! LOL

Ours are out back off the deck. One set of neighbors has 4 kids, 2 cats, a dog. The other side, both work and 2 kids and a dog. (We all seem to have pets here, almost, some more). So Mine are a nice melodic sound and I don't think we bother anyone. Not even the deer.

Re: Windchimes--- do you like them?

I do like wind chimes,  I own a couple and they both make a light melodious sound and my neighbor also has a wind chime and I like the sound her's makes too.

There are more annoying noises---inconsiderate folks that driven down a nearby street with their music system blasting so loud it makes the house shake from quite a ways away or car alarms that seem to go off every time the wind blows... Smiley Mad
