White Lacquer Dining Room

This would normally not be my choice. I don't tend to like rooms that are essentially a monochrome, nor a sleek contemporary look and I actively dislike 'two story room', which, to me, lack warmth and I prefer rooms with 'boundaries'... Still, somehow, I really do like this room...

Even though the title said DR, in my eye I saw the table as a bathtub when I opened the thread. Cat Surprised

Most of the room is pretty nice.  Dont' care for the chairs (looks like they're from the Jetson's Cartoons) - nor the gold ornate lookiing wall accessories  I don't care for anything with ornate details.

I like the pop of blue color on the back wall & I would change to curtains with color.

Think I've died and gone to Heaven without any fluffy clouds. It's too shiney for my eyes! Give me some color and texture, please.

@lolakimono  I thought this picture would be bigger and show more detail... Had I known, I'd have enlarged it myself... But nope, that's the table, not a tub...

I like this room but the chairs look uncomfortable .....switch them out to comfy upholstered chairs and I'm there.

I'm not a lacquer girl either, but I love this. Even tho it wouldn't fit my life style. I still like everything about it. It's so calm. I like to mix gold with white in home decor and fashion. But I would never have the nerve to use the lacquer table etc.

@DREAMON  @ScenicMaine   I agree. Although they're more comfortable than they look, the chairs are the one element in the room I'd have to replace. I just dont like them at all. They look like office furniture to me.

I like the room but would change out some of the accessories on the buffet.
