Hi faerie, that's my thought too, I much prefer white lights even on the white tree. I'm not a fan of multi lights. But, I do like the trees. Ebay usually has light covers in different colors if the ones on the trees is removable.

If you have room to store them, keep them both. You could put the smaller one in a bedroom for a little holiday light, and the larger one could be out in the living room, hallway, etc.
However, I think it would look better to remove that garland. It makes it a bit too fussy.

I don't know why, but I've never liked colored lights. I prefer white with a hint of gold in them (which I can no longer find.) I had a million sets of those for many years, but they've all pooped out now. I have been replacing them with regular white. Lately I can't seem to get more than two years out of a set of lights.

I'm checking ebay so again, everyone's input has been amazing & much appreciated! On 11/11/2014 lucymo said:On 11/11/2014 faeriemoon said:I would stick with the larger one. Hi BornToShop, Based upon your pic alone (if all your bulbs look as brightly lit), I would keep the QVC one. However, with that said, as you know from the other thread, I'm returning mine. In your pic, you are able to see the red, green and blue bulbs lit too. On ours, the only ones that look lit are the yellow ones (even with newly charged batteries and the lights in the room are off)!!!
I would keep the larger tree...and the beaded garland you put around the bottom looks lovely with it! ![]()
I did write in my review that I hope 'Mr Christmas' will have an improved version of the tree next year...mentioning all the issues I didn't care for...yellowish-green bulbs/star (I thought it was a lemon yellow during the presentation...not a lemon-lime), more colors with even color saturation so all colored lights look lit, etc.
Hopefully the powers that be will take some of the suggestions seriously. I did like being able to put the B/O tree on the coffee table w/o a cord since it's in the middle of our LR

Agree, not a big fan of colored lights either. Once the clear ones became popular and available, it was all over for me and multi-color. I sometimes don't mind a single color and while I don't recall seeing white with gold, for a few years I could actually find white (not clear) lights that were very pretty and also for a while I could find frosted clear lights, which I liked a lot too...

That was part of the appeal for me too...
