I am falling in love @Hoovermom!  I did find another one on that site that is about half that and probably more practical for what I would use it for.

We were going to do an Ikea run at some point for bookcases but we obviously need to stop in our local Pier 1 store first.  I never do because it is in a strip mall I never go to.  Must add that to the list...

@lolakimono you are good!  Thank you!

I thought this one was nice @Hoovermom.  It has my colors and the design matches my bedroom furniture.  As much as I love the mirrored one, I would ruin it with my actual books.

@Laura14  I was also thinking of display shelving  for you to put special pieces on, and for Christmas/seasons you could really decorate such a piece.

Re: What would you do with this wall?

Hi @Laura14

If I were you, I'd do as most other posters have suggested, namely, wait until your furniture is in place.

You may even find once it's there, you'll be moving it around from time to time.  So don't commit to picture placement until then.

Another tip that you may know is to lay your pictures out on the floor into the arrangement just like you'd have it on the wall and that will give you an idea of how it all looks together before you start making holes in the wall.  If you're ambitious, you could even do a sketch or lay the pictures on a big sheet of paper.  But that step isn't totally necessary.

And when you're ready to hang those pictures and other things, check out those amazing little hook things that hold a lot of weight, don't make huge holes in the wall, and are easy to put into drywall.

You can get them from amazon or locally.

You'll thank me later.  Woman LOL

@mousiegirl  We have always said we would do shelving in the kitchen area and probably ones to match the wood shelves between the kitchen cabinets so they'd be on both sides.  That's the space right next to this one.  Shelves and/or bookcases are definitely happening somewhere around this place!

@GingerPeach  OMG thank you!  I had no idea they existed and that's part of what's been holding me back from pictures is marking up the dry wall again because I do like change.  I will check these out.

Re: What would you do with this wall?

It's kind of hard to say without some furniture in the room first. It would be much easier to visualize if that were the case.
