Re: What is Your Favorite Mattress?

PlushBeds organic pilowtop mattress is amazing - very comfortable, well made and certified organic. I always look for organic certifications when mattress shopping. Make sure you know what's inside of your mattress!

I sleep well on the original Tempur-pedic we bought 20 years ago.  It is firm, and rests on the proprietary platform.

The thing springs right back, still. No "troughing", or sliding off the edge - still feels like new.

Re: What is Your Favorite Mattress?

@Sooner  I need to get a new mattress this year, too, and I'm probably going to get a hybrid version from Brooklyn Bedding. The have one with a cooling top that gets very high marks for actually being cool to touch. I'm in Florida and anything that cools is good.

Friends got a Brooklyn Bedding RV mattress and liked it so much they purchased a BB mattress for their home, too.

Tempur-Pedic. I think people either love them or hate them. We love them.

We sleep on a Saatva and have them in all 4 bedrooms.  But you are so right about knowing what's inside your mattress!!!

I agree.  Always wanted a Shifman and finally got one in 2016.  I did not want a pillowtop mattress -- had to be a two-sided mattress that could be flipped.  Handmade in the US (NJ), natural materials, two-sided -- it had everything I wanted.  Seven years later it's like new.  Only negative is the cost -- expensive -- but for me it's been worth it.

@BklynKinsey

We have had Shifman mattresses for a lot of years.  They wear like iron and never sag in the middle.  We're on our second Shifman and that's because we went from full size to queen size many years ago.  We also have the two sided and flip the mattress every so often.  They are expensive but it's worth it considering you don't have to replace them every few years like some brands.  I don't recall exactly but I think we had our first Shifman for well over twenty years.

Re: What is Your Favorite Mattress?

I bought Sterns and Foster about a year ago. I noticed it is starting to sag in the middle. I am so upset, it was pretty expensive.
