What a Pretty Exterior...

[ Edited ]

Not many great shots of the interior, but loving the look of this house from the outside. From Victoria magazine.

Lush vegetation welcomes guests to Leslie Saeta’s white shingled house in Southern California. A black front door and matching shutters are classic design elements that complement this early twentieth-century home.

Leslie Saeta has a designated nook for arranging flowers that she refreshes around the home each week. Colorful blooms of orange, pink, and purple are stacked on the potting bench ready to be placed in a tall metal can.

Leslie Saeta finds glasses, tableware, and entertaining pieces at vintage shops, flea markets, and a few online retailers. Her preferred style involves mixing patterns and collections to create a cozy setting.

Leslie Saeta’s family room is flooded with natural light that adds even more of a bright and airy feel to the space decorated in creams and whites. The sofa and nearby chair are decorated with pink gingham throw pillows that create a comfortable sitting area.

Oh, I am totally in love!  I love the outside and the clever use of crystal in the ombre use of pink in the cabinets!

Love the sitting room, very charming!

Many thanks!

Love the charming outside, the cottage and shabby chic elements inside, the sweet color palette, the luxuriously tall baseboards-- would just remove the signs.

@stevieb  I love the little roofs over the 2nd floor windows.

The furniture in the house looks dirty & nasty, especially the kitchen.  The only things missing are the ants & roaches crawling out of the nooks & nannys.

@stevieb

Gorgeous outside and inside! I too love the shabby chic furniture and the interior color pallet is right up my ally.

I really like the glimpse into the dining room of the shabby chic chest with the mirror, sconces and pink floral arrangement (I want that whole set-up).Woman Happy

I love the exterior of this home and much of the interior. The only thing that I would want to change quickly is the foundation landscaping. I prefer a more manicured look.

I like the home, but I prefer a more manicured outdoors as well. I would replace some of the bushes for a flower garden under the windows, or else replace with more manicured bushes and shrubs. I am not a fan of shabby chic furniture either,  but love the rooms!!!
