Do you like any of these tropical inspired rooms?

I like this bedroom. Looks very relaxing. The tropical theme is fairly subtle. No major changes for me. The only thing I would add is a few colorful pillows on the bed.

@wilma Number one looks so refreshing and real.

Number 2 looks like a staged photo for print.

I want to go there right NOW, please.

@wilma

Pic 1 - I like most of it.  I'd get rid of the canopy over the bed and the rug.  Carpeting doesn't seem tropical to me.  I'd change it to either a tile or maybe a light tone wood floor.

Pic 2 - NOPE

Pic 3 - I'd prefer lighter cabinets & furnishings.  And change the paint on the walls to something a with a tad more color.

Not really into the "tropics" look, but all of these rooms are very nice and I would feel very relaxed if I were on vacation.

While I like the tropical look, I'm not a huge fan and would probably never employ the look, even if I had a home in 'the tropics'... It's a pretty room, but I don't like the bed in the first picture, as I don't like bed curtains or high posts... Despite it maybe being a bit staged looking, and other than the art, which needs to come down, I like the second picture... I especially like the bed, chair and garden stool... The final picture is a non-starter for me, as I don't like the ceiling at all and it's pervasive...

As long as there is A/C, I guess I could live with it for a while.

I like all of them.  The only things I would replace are the sisal rugs in the two bedrooms.  They really aren't comfortable for bare feet in a bedroom.  But these are designs that are nice to visit but I would chose  different ones.  Even in the tropics I would go modern with oriental rugs.

@Bhvbum

Good point about the rugs. My bare feet would prefer something softer too.

I think any tropic-themed decor looks out of place anywhere but in the tropics.  That being said, I prefer the first two rooms to the third.

I love them all - bliss to relax in the tropics in any of these.  Thanks for sharing.

I like 1 and 3 if I owned a home in a tropical area.....wish I did.
