Do you like any of these tropical inspired rooms?

I like this bedroom. Looks very relaxing. The tropical theme is fairly subtle. No major changes for me. The only thing I would add is a few colorful pillows on the bed.

I like this one too, but it looks staged to me. I doubt most of us would leave a tray with tea set on the floor. I wouldn’t put a plant and breakable jar on suitcases either.

The wooden bed is gorgeous. The plant and chair are nice.

I like this kitchen, dining, & family room area too. I like the warmth of the room. The contrast of the dark woods with the lighter paint & ceiling work for me. I also like the furnishings, textiles, and the greenery.

@wilma Number one looks so refreshing and real.

Number 2 looks like a staged photo for print.

I pretty much agree with all that you said.  They both invoke happy, energetic vibes to me.  The second one is just so overdone.  Kinda like me decorating for Christmas:  I keep adding things here and there.  Ok at Christmas but not a good overall design strategy!

Love it!  It looks very much like the home that we stayed on the Big Island a few years back.  It was absolutely heaven on earth.  That traditional Hawaiian elegance is for me!  I guess my very happy memories of the islands certainly add to my fondness for this style. .

I like all of them.  The only things I would replace are the sisal rugs in the two bedrooms.  They really aren't comfortable for bare feet in a bedroom.  But these are designs that are nice to visit but I would chose  different ones.  Even in the tropics I would go modern with oriental rugs.

I like the kitchen, dining and living rooms the best.  there is warmth throughout and overall looks comfortable and put together.  The bedrooms are OK but both need some changes.

I really like the simplicity of the first one. Very restful!
