I love wallpaper...I have my dining room papered as well as one wall in the spare bedroom....I like it as much today as I did when it was installed.

We had wallpaper in our house growing up.  Our neighbor was a painter and paper hanger and his house was exquisite.

I had borders in my bathrooms here and a chair rail design with Wallies in my bedroom.

I really like it.  I feel it adds warmth and personality.  I have it in my kitchen and bathroom.  My kitchen is very old fashioned and could stand to be updated but it's actually my favorite room in our house.  Anyone who has come to our house has always said --- what a warm and cozy kitchen!  That's what it is to me, too and so, old fashioned or not --- I'm leaving it --- paper and all!

No wallpaper for me.  I absolutely HATE it!

I used to like wallpaper used sparingly.  I no longer care for it or want it.

I like wallpaper, but as with paint, it has to be exactly what I want, not just wallpaper for wallpaper's sake.

I bought this house in 1994, and it was a hot mess. It was dirty and the walls needed painted or papered, the original 1973 carpets needed replaced etc. I painted some rooms, and papered others.

My master bed and bath are still the original paper I chose, and I love it as much today as I did the day I picked it out.

I papered the guest bath and while the style is a bit dated now, it is still in like new condition, and I still like the style.

I papered the kitchen and dining room, and that was the only area that the paper did not do well in. I chalked it up to cheap paper. I loved the pattern and colors for years, but when I remodeled the kitchen last year, I couldn't wait to get the stuff gone, because of how bad it was looking after years of trying to keep it from peeling and coming loose.

I will say I tend to prefer less paper than I did in the 90's but I still like a few rooms in a house done in a good wallpaper that reflects the period of the home, or the lifestyle of the inhabitants.

As for myself, I will never hang paper again, in any place I will be long enough to have to remove it. Stripping wallpaper and preparing walls under it to paint can just about kill an old lady like me! LOL

I like wall paper in bedrooms and maybe one wall in a bathroom.
