I am not a fan of lavender or pastels in general during the winter; for me, they evoke spring, so I don't find them appealing until winter is waning. We couldn't  put up a tree this year, so taking down Christmas and putting up winter took little effort. My one Christmas Falalala pillow is put away and my Santas are boxed. My little snowmen have moved from the mantel to the foyer table with my now-blooming white amaryllis. They are all sitting together on a blue and white runner. Will be adding my snow leopard faux fur throw to the sofa again and my deep gold and blue pillows. I don't add new winter things, just move things around to new places.
I need a winter wreath...so far, have found nothing that doesn't still look like Christmas or spring.

@Oznell @Catiele @Trailrun23 @jannabelle1 @ThinkingOutLoud

I agree with @Catiele I need some glass trees like the ones shown!

Thank you @Oznell for these lovely scenes.

Let me tell you where I'm "at" with my decor right now... this will sound like whining but I'm not... I'm finding humor in it right now:

As my orders from Amazon and QVC came in, until I began wrapping everything I just left them in the boxes...BIG MISTAKE! LOL

There are boxes EVERYWHERE! I also took delivery on the Santa stuff from DD so those boxes stayed here too!

I ordered (way on sale) a beautiful wreath from Pottery Barn it is flocked and has touches of bronze (just like we discussed previously). The wreath arrived the day after Christmas..it makes me very happy to see it...

.I'm not sick of anything decorative here right now...because I was so very exhausted for Nov-Dec from URI  never thought I'd be the same!

I believe I will plan differently next Christmas holiday season...I will first of all, plan not to get sick!

It looks like a lavender winter wonderland. I love everything she's done.

I try to prolonge the Christmas spirit by keeping my fairie lights (in glass pillars) up until the end of winter. I prefer silvertone decorations, simple, bright and striking. I  leave a few decorations interspersed between crystal candle holders but I see I have some work to do as my creativity looks nothing like this! Smiley Very Happy  .

The pictures are pretty but not my taste.  I don't change my decor by season.  The same items stays out all year except when I decorate for Fall and Christmas.  I used to put Spring/Easter things out but haven't done that for several years.

Besides, I don't have a lot of storage space.

I leave some of my floral pieces out that define winter for me. The one seasonal change I always have are my floral looks.  I also put my family and friend photos back in place, on my side tables and throughout the dining and living room.  I have figurines which relate to winter and put them on an entertainment piece.  I do love the lilac and lavender colors in the photos, so pretty..  Also the smoky crystal piece is stunning and an eye catcher.  As I take my decorations down, I will keep the ones which are also winter decor .

side note: try to find pillows that are not seasonal

Just now, changing out a shelf with lanterns.  I think I'll be putting candles in these, not real of course, like I have the others in the house.  Just something warm and comforting for me to see and look at.  One is used each season, with small things beside the candle inside.

@jannabelle1 ,   I'm intrigued by your Blenko blue penguin, love any kind of midcentury glass!   Is he anything like this--  how striking!   In addition to this lovely cobalt, I saw one that was in a dreamy sort of aqua.  Do you have any other Blenko glass?
