Our A&W has vintage travel posters on the walls. They grab my attention, or maybe it is the grease splatters and ketchup smears that cause me to stare.

Hey, thank you, @silkyk , and @Kachina624 , for posting your own poster favorites, very cool! I so love to see what other people like, in a category that I'm also interested in.
I just have one vintage travel poster (and at most, would get maybe one more), but I admire those who employ them effectively "en masse" in a room, to create a real mood. Here's a Michigan vacation house, in which the owners used their three posters to really enhance the feeling in their breezy living room-- what a fun space:

And then there's that cozy ski lodge ambiance. But here, interestingly, I think I would have just used one travel poster, for maximum impact... These two are too much the same, seeming to cancel each other out, or something...

@skatting44, Want a laugh? My DH, turning 80, always kept his old wooden childhood skis. We display them every
Cnristmas in an arrangement on our front door. Sometimes it is good to be a pack rat.
Good to know someone else treasured their 1st ski's. My Husband said it was abt 1951 when he was given them for Christmas. No one in his family skied . He went out in the backyard and fiddled around on a little backyard slope . He has skied all his life and holds an expert certification. Funny where an old rustic pair of ski's can lead one.

@PamfromCTand @skatting44 , I love all the vintage ski gear too, and think it is very clever and picturesque to use as seasonal decorations.
My Mother, growing up in the northern resort area of Ontario, Canada, used to scamper about everywhere as a child on her vintage snow shoes-- how I'd love to have a pair of hers to treasure....

While I am not into travel prints, I must say, they really work very well in the rooms you posted. Both really nice rooms and very well done.

@Oznell Love vintage travel posters. I have a varied collection representing places I been to that now are decorating my office walls. Vintage Hawaiian ones are very fun, and I especially like Kerne Erickson. I had the one you posted as the background for a wall clock for a relative that visits there often. Cafe Press I believe is where I purchased it.

Yes, @jubilant , I suddenly realized I should put up pictures of some of this art in actual rooms. These two examples are sort of "vacation home" type settings, but I even like framed travel posters in other kinds of houses and apartments as well, for their sheer unexpectedness...
Having a beach to look at in a kitchen is a very good idea, @DREAMON !
Hey @SunValley , when I put that "Sun Valley" ski poster up, I was forgetting you have a very chic travel poster 'image' that you carry around right in your name!
