Watching Jill's show with Valerie now. I am not really into most of her items. I really don't care for mercury glass or shiney and sparkley deco. I prefer more natural and earthy decorations like fresh balsam and berries, holly, etc. It just seems to work better in my home which is more earth tone colors.

Valerie's shows are the only ones that sell fresh items.

I go to thrift shops for outdoor decorations........and pick up what "wealthy" donors discarded after one use last year.

It does seem Valerie has gotten away from more natural decor these last several years. She did used to have some things that were more organic and rustic, for lack of a better description. And she has always an eye for more traditional and elegant, but I see more casual and whimsy in her offerings sometimes now.

I, too, am beginning to think she has gone too far with the lighted and MG type things, and I'm wondering if there will be a swing back toward more traditional things in the years to come.
