Re: VPH S/3 Pretty In Plaid Trees

I also received a broken tree in my multi colored trees. I called QVC to replace them and they are sold out and no waitlist. I have been receiving lots of damaged and defective items in the last few months.

So far, timer function works beautifully on my silver set! I decided to get out a silver finial to test out with the trees. They are absolutely stunning displayed together. Now, the test will be if the timer function can sustain working properly & extent of the battery life of these, to SL's point in a previous post.

Re: VPH S/3 Pretty In Plaid Trees

I have been reading the reviews for these plaid trees. Seems like it's just one more poor quality mass produced product.

I wonder when the 'tipping point' will occur when something will have to change...

BornToShop, Yes, please update us on how long they will last before recharging the batteries (with them being on the timer function of coarse). I know the set of 3 silver VPH MG trees I got last year are only good for 5 days before I had to recharge the batteries...which became annoying by the end of the holiday season...

Re: VPH S/3 Pretty In Plaid Trees

Lots more reviews have been recently posted...only 36% would recommend these plaid trees...

I would think that after awhile, the high number of returns of so many products lately and would eventually cut the Q's profit margin quite a bit.

I wouldn't want to be working in the Q's return dept when masses of an item are sent back.

They looked really nice in the presentation. Sad to see so many quality issues.

Hi graycatsrule, I don't know why VPH/Q can't find other vendors to make the more problematic products with better quality...ie, B/O MG products for example. It seems that VPH/Q keep going back to the same specific manufacturing companies overseas that lack any regulating QC. I can see a bad piece/set here and there being missed... say 1 out of 100, but not at a rate of 30-50%. It's just obvious that nobody is at the end of the assembly line checking for rejects...SMH.

Re: VPH S/3 Pretty In Plaid Trees

Regarding quality control on VPH products, these issues go back for years. I ordered a Fall wreath many years ago which was filled with moths. QVC eventually had to pay for an exterminator to come to my house to get rid of the moths. Then there was the snow globe TSV many years ago that crashed and burned. Customer service didn't even need to hear my story as they had had so many complaints previous to mine. Then, last year I ordered the mercury glass Christmas trees. They were beautiful, but the bases were not glued on properly therefore, the trees were crooked and the lights did not work.

Her shows are so beautiful and she is a fantastic sales woman, but time after time, her products do not measure up. It's sad as I think she is a really talented person. Her manufacturing is awful however. If you read these forums Valerie, please take heed. I saw these trees and packages presented, was tempted to buy, but ultimately did not, because of the lousy performance of your products historically.
