Hi ladies. I sure hope QVC isn't cutting back on her shows?  Last year she had Easter items available. I have several of her things including the square candle pedestals and the set of three. I really love those. I certainly hope she will be back with more shows soon!!!

@Luv_My_Beagle  Valerie usually has some really cute bunnies for Easter.  I have several of them.  Maybe she will have Easter items in her February shows.

@mousiegirl @Luv_My_Beagle  Yes, and also P1 tempts me something awful with the bunnies.  I wonder if we shouldn't be on the lookout for Groundhogs too, his day is coming right up.  lol

Did anyone see the 1 AM presentation of the ribbed hurricane lanterns?  They are only showing the older video with Lisa Mason. The earlier comments were that there was no steady on function even though it was mentioned in the presentation.   I need to know if they corrected the twinkle only feature on the micro lights to include a steady feature.  I think these would be great to add to a nautical theme.

Thanks

@westiemama  I watched the presentation and since there is a candle in the hurricane, I doubt that it twinkles, and there was no mention of that.

@mousiegirl I think @westiemama is talking about H204582.  They did not mention a steady feature in last night's presentation, only the twinkle feature, unfortunately.

Missed the shows, as am tending to/running a sick cat to and from the vet daily.

Didn't see anything in the sneak peek that tempted me, really. By this time of year, I'm kind of sick of thinking where to store any more decor.

I think I am 'shopped out' with buying all the harvest and Christmas decor plus gifts for Christmas so I am taking a break.  I really didn't see anything that I need or want enough to order.  I'm really struggling with the storage for off season decor so I really need to be very selective with what I buy now and it will have to be something that I just can't pass up.  I did like the garlands in the shows.

@lucymo  I am sure I will be struggling in a few weeks also, lucy, am already wondering how everything is going to fit.

I was surprised that I found things I felt I needed to complete displays, but am already nervous that Valerie will bring garlands I can't resist.

I bought the Luminara blush pink candles yesterday for my Easter display.  The only other colored candles I have are red for Christmas.  I also bought two pink and white Dahlia wreaths as they are smaller than most, and plan to put two large hurricanes in the middle, again for the Easter/Spring displays.  I hope they are as nice as they appear.  I bought the Grandin Road Chloe candle rings for these displays, so think the colors in the wreaths will go perfectly with these.

One item I bought but shouldn't have is Valeries new rooster.  It has such a sweet face, and it looks more like a hen to me. Smiley Happy  I had bought the duck, but cancelled as I didn't like the burlap belly, thought a better job could have been done on this.

I looked at the bunnies at Pier1, very cute, but I have to remember how many I have, and I really have enough, if one can ever have enough bunnies. Smiley Happy

I will be returning two defective items and a top that is too big, today, will have to pay for the top, but not the other two.  I think Valerie is back on Feb. 2.

@mousiegirl  I'm sure the bunnies will get to me and I'll end up adding at least a pair of them.  I have a storage cabinet full of them now but they are my weakness,  HaHa, one of my weaknesses.  Sounds like you have a plan for all of your purchases and that's ok.  When I get into trouble is just buying items because I love them and when they come I don't have a clue where to use them.  Can't wait to see your kitchen decor pictures in a couple of months.

@lucymo  I am the same way re buying, but find, as I am sure you do, that once I have something, it turns out to be the perfect item that fits into my display, such as the two large green frosted trees on my kitchen table.  I bought them because I thought they looked wonderful, then wondered how in the world I could use them, but as it turned out, they were just what that display needed, now I am wondering how in the world will I store them, lol, but I will figure it out, have to.
