Using Wallpaper to Customize Furniture

These are those "generic" wardrobe cabinets that were customized with wallpaper panels.

What do you think of the "custom" treatment?

I like it a lot we covered our glass closet doors with a marbelized, wall paper, at the time it was a process where you tear each piece, we also have the same paper behind our bed

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

I'm personally not a fan of wardrobes. I like closets that have everything in them - shelves, shoe racks, etc. Wardrobes remind me of "armoirs" huge pieces of furniture in a confined space.

I think this is a very smart idea to change something like this.

This particular instance isn't my taste at all, but I really appreciate what it has done for the room, and I think this is a great idea.

Love it.  I had something similar, back in the 90s.  In the bedroom, I wall papered the closet door, and had the same paper on the far wall.

I like the idea of using wallpaper to cover doors but that particular purple paper is overwhelming.  I couldnt live with it.

Great way to add a little "artwork" and a pop of color.

@I am still oxox  Often wondered what people did with mirrored closet doors. Wallpaper is a great solution with little cost involved!

Re: Using Wallpaper to Customize Furniture

Neat idea and good job. I'd have picked another wallpaper, but that's a matter of personal choice. I put wallpaper on the inside of a glass cabinet I have and it worked out nicely, but probably not as nicely as this. I didn't want it permanently affixed, so used tape that can't be seen from the outside.
