I like it.....a lot although I probably wouldn't have it in my home.

Love Asian or Oriental influences in my home. This is an interesting piece and would be lovely painted black. However, it would never be suitable for books! I have a couple of walls in the family room of interesting matching pieces which do hold our collection of books, as well as statuary. Also displayed are pictures of my husband and my mom & step-father, their wedding rings, husband's military badges and memorial flag, plaques of recognition or honor we received, etc. All fond memories mingled with our books.    .

For the person who owns a handful of books. This would never please a true reader.

Now you're talking!  I love Asian decor.  I'd prefer it in either red or black laquer.  I have several ginger jars all ready to go.  I'd consider it more of a curio cabinet than a bookcase though.

I love it! It's not your usual all-horizontal shelves - this one has some character! It isn't the finish that I'd choose, but the style is great.

All those different geometric shapes are not pleasing to my eye. And I especially dislike octagons, which are the centerpieces.

I like the looks of it ... but it's totally useless!

I have 16 30" shelves of books, plus stacks of books on top of the bookcases.  And, a Kindle with 500+ books because I ran out of space for more bookcases.

I love to read and have lots of books.  I don't see any books on the bookcase!
