Asian decor is not my style, but I am drawn to it.  I could see it painted a fun color, or with painted or fabric covered backs.Heart

I like everything about the room except for the bookcases.  LOL

 

They're too fussy looking for me.

It's not bad, especially if you have a big, blank wall that you don't know what to do with.  It becomes the room's focal point.

I like the piece of furniture,  I would not call it a bookcase, though.  I can see some of my larger lighthouses sitting in the larger openings.

Love the shapes I would paint it a contrasting color to the room or maybe a black lacquer
