I agree that I probably would not classify that kitchen as colonial.

 

Where is the wood burning fireplace/stove?

 

Where are the big cast iron pots and the straw baskets?

 

It is however, a very neat and clean modern kitchen!

The cabinets and table could pass as Colonial.

 

The floors are typical more modern narrow hardwood, not the wide plank seen in Colonial days. 

 

IMO, nothing else in this kitchen even comes close to Colonial.  

 

First impression, overall decor, traditional, yes, Colonial, no.  Not very exciting.
