Dated?  Hmmm . . . maybe that's why I like it.  It just looks comfortable to work in.  The only change I would make is to remove that rug that seems to be next to a cook top.  I'm too sloppy for that.  Stuff is always hitting the floor, chopped veggies, water,  etc.
