@151949

I just re-read how did this other realtor get your #?   Do they work in same brokerage firm?  Very strange  &  HE is why you didn't sell your home.  He sounds like a #####....and certainly not on the up & up.

I would think that what he did was unethical although maybe he was showing the lake from the view of your home vs. the actual home for sale.

Either way he seemed like a poor choice from the beginning for you!

How did the realtor get your number to call you?

Something's not adding up here.

It's a listed number in the phone book.

My DH called the manager of the agency who promised the pictures would be removed ASAP and she would return to us the video they were taken from.

But your name nor your address are listed on the Realtor.com site.  How would they know who to look up?

I assume our name is on the listing at the realty, and that the agent is intelligent enough to use a phone book, if the number isn't also on their info.

@Q4u You have all my sympathy. I completely understand how you feel. IMO - any and all dealings with this realtor from the beginning have been hell. Now it has been 2 months since we took our house off the market and we are still in their hell. Does this ever end.

I'm sorry you lost your new house - believe me - I know how that feels.

Thank you, and hope your experience gets much better...

This has just been updated the last two hours.  The buyers of our house (they are from CA) have an agent here that is now trying to bully our very experienced agent over a $3800 repair that is simply not necessary.  It's regarding our siding, which is lapped and concrete. Lapped siding works like tongue and groove (sort of) and will not allow rain under it.  They are installed with a small amount of room between them (to contract & expand) but they are still lapped.  They not only want all those joints filled, they want to repaint the entire house on our dime!  The house is only 8 years old!

Even so, we offered to pay half!  Their agent got beligerant with our agent and said her buyers wiill walk.....  well okey dokey then.....

We want the sale but we're really tired of this attitude.... leave, stay, whatever.... it'll sell!

You had one lazy agent. Hope his employer deals with him appropriately.

I have brought & sold 6 houses only 1 time this realtor from you know where came in and the buyers were nice, we sold to them so of course they wanted to come back several times to measure or relook fine. This realtor comes in no warning and starts giving me some stuff while the buyers were looking around even the buyers were upset with him. I called my realtor after they left & said NO way will I ever be in the same room with this realtor. She had to call him & say the sellers want nothing to do with you & if you continue they will stop the deal. We sold to the buyers all papers were signed without even looking at there realtor, we pre signed. After it was done my realtor  said this guy has been giving all realtors a hard time. No one wants to work with him.

The OP thought the Realtor was terrific in spite of dozens of warnings from posters on here after the first red flag. And the second red flag. Etc. She enjoys bringing drama into her life without providing both sides of every story.

Sounds like all of those places are alike, so yes, a Realtor can use the same outside photo if he (or his company) owns the photos. Nothing illegal about that. And who cares if someone makes a typo about a condo or a TH? It happens all of the time. At the bottom of all MLS listings, it clearly states the information is not a legal document and should be reviewed thoroughly before entering into a transaction.
