Nah - i need a railing that will not move when I am trying to stop myself from falling down. I'm laughing as I type this because I can just visualize myself falling down these stairs grasping at the rope.

There are times when you must speak, not because you are going to change the opposing side, but because if you do not speak, they have changed you.

I love it for a house near the water. I can just picture my grandkids strangling themselves in it though.

It looks cool, and kids and younger folks would like this....but those of us in the senior crowd usually need something a bit more stable! "Knot Up to Code"....love that!
