Do you put up decorations for Thanksgiving.  I have only one ... Jim Shore's Count your Blessings pumpkin.  I noticed the stores have already moved into Christmas with their decorations and completely forgot about Thanksgiving.  We should all remember to be thankful.

Re: Thanksgiving decorations

I don't do decorations very often but I love that one and would proudly display it.

Yes!  It's mostly fall with a few Halloween (which I try to remember to remove for Nov) thrown in.

I have my front porch, table in the foyer, mantle and side table in the dining room....I enjoy decorating for the seasons!

Re: Thanksgiving decorations

I don't have any decorations that are specifically for Thanksgiving.  Rather, I have a wide variety of pumpkins (no jack-o-lanterns) that I put out for October and November.

Re: Thanksgiving decorations

I mostly decorate with pumpkins and fall leaves, but I do have a few "Thanksgiving" items.

A Jim Shore Cornucopia

A set of two stacking pumpkins--the smaller top one says "Give", the bottom one says "Thanks" (bought all these items at the Q)

A small resin turkey that goes nicely on a hall table

A vintage ceramic soup tureen shaped like a turkey that goes on my hearth once Halloween is over and the jack o'lantern is put away.

Re: Thanksgiving decorations

yes I do--I decorate the fireplace mantle mostly. I live in a very small apt and that is what room I have. I use seasonal plates alot--from fiestaware, and from Cost plus and /or Home goods--bought plate hangers to put a few on the walls. I have various pumpkins of different sizes/shapes and stick candles and somewhereWoman Embarassed------I have fake autumn leaf garlands and a lovely table runner that I use too. I mostly decorate in Sept with the autumn theme that carries me thru to Dec---and just add in  halloween and t-day as needed.
