Yesterday I went to a local mattress store and purchased a Queez Size Simmons Beautyrest Luxury Firm. Sale price - which I feel is very fair. They had to custom order the box spring - 4" lower - as the mattress sets are taller now - and I'm short. I'll have it in a couple of weeks. Thru the years, I purchased 7 other mattress sets there. Had the same salesman as 3 yrs ago when I replaced 3 mattresses for my spare rooms. I have 90 days to exchange it. This company has 4 local mattress stores - and the owner was in the store yesterday when I purchased it.

He had the salesman take a pic of us -- for his promo - since I purchased so many mattresses.

I now have a Simmons mattress, 16 yrs old - and the salesman told me that this new mattress is made much better than the one I have. Hopefully, my pain from sciatica will ease.

We just bought that same mattress and they deivered the wrong box springs--not the shorter ones, and I'm having to CLIMB until they switch them out.

I am not really happy with the matterss.  With sheets and mattress pad, it seems that the top has little cushioning.  Not that the mattress is too firm, it is just that the top isn't as cushioned as in the store.

Anyone had any experience with the Beautyrest Silver and Black series and care to share?  I HATE picking out a mattress!

After almost 20 years I bought a new Beautyrest Silver on Saturday at Sears.  It is top quality and according to the sale it was 50% off.  I paid $995. before they added the new frame, haul away old bed, and tax.  I have to agree with another post that said there is July 4th etc. many more sales coming down the line.

This process was very hard for me as I always had my husband who is now gone.  But I went all over and yes laid on all the beds even though I felt funny.   I believe I got a new mattress that I am going to love.

Just make sure you are ready.  And then I believe you will get just what you need.

Good Luck.
