Re: Space for Cat Napping/Lounging

@Tique-

I was thinking it was going to be a cat space too!Woman LOL

But it actually would be a great place to hang out with a pet, dogs, cats.

They wouldn't have to jump up, could just crawl or jump right in!

@Tique, you weren't the only one that thought it was a space devoted for cats (until I opened the thread).  LOL!

@lolakimono  Looks as if the only way in or out is to climb over, no thank you, but kids could do well, lol.

Re: Space for Cat Napping/Lounging

Getting in and out of that thing would take a much younger body than I've got!

That 'room' and I use the term lightly, lacks all imagination. If the outdoors surrounding was pretty it would be something to experience, but from the photo, it doesn't look like much of a view.

All glass areas like that bother me. I'm OCD about glass being clean, and I'm afraid that it never would be for more than a day after cleaning. That, and I don't like living in a fish bowl, as much as I'd love the light it lets in, I'd feel naked and exposed in that room

It looks like someone got tired of their hot tub and built a platform across it halfway down and then put a custom cushion and pillows in it. But, that was just my first take on this...

Re: Space for Cat Napping/Lounging

I also don't care for all open windows .... I don't like people looking at me in my private/personal space.... I would have to have drapes to the floor to draw at night. I know, it's not the 'popular' thing to do, but it's just me... I like my privacy..

As for the sitting area.... NO.... I would be walking in there and fall in the hole and I wouldn't be able to get out... like falling into a tub with cushioning....be rolling around like  a beached whale... ha..ha..

I would really like this space if it was softened up with regular furniture, curtains to draw, fill in the hole, etc.... something to make it more cozy...

guess I'm out of the modern loop...

I remember when”conversation pits” were popular in the 1960s. I walked into one with a drink in my hand. That fall really made me dislike pits.

When i first glanced at this I thought it was for a CAT! don't laugh, but darn, I would love being that spoiled cat for sure.

All that aside - what a great space!
