Re: Shades of Gray- Living Room

I know there are many differing opinions on using gray in home decor.  I personally love gray, however I don't think this room is a good example of how beautiful and versatile it can be.

I dislike the coffee table--it looks like one of those inexpensive desk credenzas. The painting scale is perfect, but I agree she is a bit spooky.  I like the floor lamps.  I am not attracted to the round table.  Most of all I am confused by the chairs.  They look like wannabe chaise lounges, but too short.  If I were to sit back in one, my legs would be sticking straight out.  I am not a blue person, so I would not choose that color, but more importantly, is that upholstery velvet?  If so, that is a definite turn-off.

I just don't care for the living room at all---and that picture is downright creepy!
