SEATTLE KITCHEN READY FOR SPRING AND EASTER

Have shown the living room and entry of "The Inspired Room" before, but not much of her kitchen.  Love her bunny pitcher, bunny votive, and pink tulips for Easter. And old-fashioned plate rack.  And of course, pup.

Her influences are coastal ( since that's where she's situated), and 'traditional cottage'.

Great cafe curtains, seascape on wall, classic striped tea towel.

She has wonderful "Botanic Garden" by Portmeirion accessories, like this measuring cup, which she also uses to water plants--

She even has Portmeirion "Botanic Garden" canisters. The famous pottery is based on the magical village of Portmeirion in Wales, which is fun to look up.

Another striking spring touch, is her new wicker basket planter.  She keeps 5 small potted plants in it, and moves it around at will.  She loves woven stuff like I do, her tea cart, basket planter, woven blinds, etc.  They bring such warmth.

"Inspired Room" helpfully provided a mood board, showing some of the elements she uses in the kitchen:

From one end of the kitchen, you can look back through the dining room, and on to the living room.  Luckily, she seems to favor a consistent palette, in her case, of creams, blues, tans and browns, so the house continues seamlessly:

Her dining room is so cute also, with its window seat bench, charming linens, and built-in bookshelf--

And here's the view from the living room end, back through the dining room, and on into the kitchen--

A little refresher on the living room:

You might remember the house from this picture of the small entry:

They've done such a nice job on their gradual house reno.  They started with a sturdy brick ranch, quite midcentury.

A great look in its own right, but her decorating leanings are definitely pitched toward 'coastal cottage'.   So they painted and sensitively remodeled to achieve the look she's comfortable with.

Super job on the back of the house too:

Looks like a mini vacation villa!

I have those canisters.  Unfortunately they are tucked away because I do not have the counter space anymore.

The brick home screams old Seattle neighborhood. Love the dog.

Re: SEATTLE KITCHEN READY FOR SPRING AND EASTER

First, love the two dogs, adorable!! Heart

In the first picture, the kitchen is quite pretty. Love the pink tulips in the bunny vase. I would remove the dark shades/blinds and the rattan/wicker (not sure) cart. I do like the wicker plant holder though Smiley Very HappyLike, you, I love the cafe curtains.

Beautiful kitchen floor and dining room table.

The "after" outside picture makes it seem like a different house. Lovely.

@Oznell thank you for bringing us another sensational post.
