The painting and blue chairs would have to go.  The rug and pillows are enough pattern for me.  Yes, that wall needs a painting(s), but not that one.

I like most everything individually but it feels lopsided to me.  There needs to be some patterned accent pieces with a tad more color over on the right hand side of the room to balance out those bolder graphic patterned chairs.

I don’t like the print on the chairs or the rug. I like the other furnishings & accessories.

Yes, you're right........ beachy and simple but "just enough" to float my boat! I don't like beachy homes that are overdone and this one isn't. It's sand and water.  What more do you need?!

I sure would enjoy a nice, big, airy room like this. But I'd make some changes if it were mine. It seems very impersonal and staged, like a hotel lobby. That huge area rug could be jute. The furniture covered in ivory linen. A bit crumpled! Maybe the legs showing. One or two accent colors. Some lamps? Those tiny sconces and ceiling fixtures don't feel very casual or welcoming to me. It's fun to redecorate other peoples' rooms!

Love it.  I would prefer solid color chairs.  But would enjoy this very much.
