Mom didn't have this style in our homes in the 1950's so I've never liked "retro". Can't say I will ever have fond memories of it from my youth. Don't believe any of my friends had it in their homes, either.

 

It simply looks foreign to me for home decor; but vaguely familiar from restaurants back in the day!!

It's not a commercial space- it was from a residence for sale in Dallas, named for "Disney."

I like it a lot! In an odd way reminds me of my retro bathroom which is Dresden Blue. I could have this easily maybe with a tweak here & there.

I normally love this color --- but yeah, too much of a good thing --- is just plain too much!!!
