Honestly, I think I'd rather work with cleaning up/updating the old look rather than put up with the new look. 

 

All that stark white in a vehicle one travels in (often with pets and or kids) or will be in campsites with, just doesn't make sense to me. 

 

It has a cold look and an uncomfortable feel. 

 

I'd pick a remodel somewhere in the middle.

I personally wouldn't go with black & white....maybe shades of gray...something softer.  While it looks updated from the original 1980s look, I'm not really wowed by it.
