Your room is cozy for sure. And relaxing is different for everyone. Just a place of respite.

@Greeneyedlady21  Wow! I love this room. Needs a throw blanket so I can drift off while reading. Lovely. Thank you for sharing.

@Greeneyedlady21  Nice post. I think we have similar decor taste. I realized when posting my bedroom photo that I go with simplicity. I only had two female roomates in my life. My sis -- one grade ahead of me -- was not organized. She was sloppy. Brilliant lady, but oh, my. I spent little time in my bedroom as a kid for that reason. When she began dating a tidy navy guy, she and I spent a weekend cleaning out her car and apartment. She married him so it was worth it! College roomate was from boothill in Missouri (nothing wrong with that, but she was one of 10 kids in a small house). College was her first time living in a new city. Oh, my. Our dorm looked like before/after every day. Minimal is relaxing to me. Nice to see the photos.

@jeanlake

Thanks for posting. Even though the color schemes are not my usual preference, I think the rooms look relaxing.

My idea of a relaxing room would be comfortable furniture in colors that aren’t over stimulating.

The first room would be fine if there was a bit of color to give it warmth and a more cozy feeling, and I dont like the rugs they chose at all!

Hate the bedroom too sleek and modern for my taste....

The open kitchen/family room looks too "furniture showroom" and matchy matchy ........
