I hate oriental ginger jars.  Somehow they manged to insert themselves into every formal arrangement.  We need a national movement to line them all up and let kids with BB guns commence target practice.

There!  I've wanted to say that for a long time.

With decorative displays, I'm a less is best, person. I'm surprised that I find this scene so appealing. There's a lot to take in but it reads elegant, while maintaining a casual garden visit vibe, enhanced by combining higher end supportive elements. And, there's a touch of storybook magic.

Here it comes...

The alleged 'festive season' is soon underway...

A formal dining room finds itself the scene of vibrant Christmas splendor, including bright blossoms, magnolia leaves, and porcelain painted with the fruits of the season.

That is beautiful!

The colors and shapes flow beautifully!  I love the silver service and the Ginger jar vases that carry the pattern of the china!

Love the roses, magnolia leaves, and berries!

The flowers arrangements in the ginger jars are too big and too much for the dining table. You wouldn't be able to see the guests seated on the other side of the table.  Depending on the guests though, that might be a good thing!  😉
