@Bookplate

@Kachina624

I don't like the rope either. Not practical as a bannister.

@Oznell

I like most of the furnishings and accessories, but I would add a bit more color.

I would be surprised if it fit with the building codes.

@sligo ,  since you are attracted to this style, you might like this particular designer, Kate Jackson.  She is actually based in Rhode Island, and, although versatile, she seems to specialize in this kind of "cottage-coastal" style.  It sounds to me like it's that style than you are drawn to.

Hmmm-  I will make a new thread and post some more of her rooms for you.  Stay tuned.

I love the couch, cushions, chest wicker chair and round table.  Not fond of spindle furniture!  I don't like the green with brown on the walls.

@Oznell So beautiful! I agree, I love the warm brown wall color against the white painted wood and unlike some, I love the playful rope stair railing.

What a lovely cottage!!  Everything about it speaks beach living.  I like the furnishings and the warmth and coziness  I could easily spend some time in this inviting place!!! Very scenic location!

@GingerHead ,  what a perfectly apt description-- that rope banister *is* playful!   Puts me in a perpetual vacation mood....

Love the construction of this house! Lovely! But, once again, why on earth do they clutter it up with knick knacks and furniture that you can't even walk a straight line through a room?? Take out half the old (yuckky) furniture then it would be perfect. Hate the stair railing.
