I spent the morning measuring, cutting and putting together my winter project.  All ready for quilting now.

It took a cool windy day after a very warm spell to motivate me to get going.  Now I can dream about summer as I go through winter!  I will have to get the wood stove set up for a fire so I am good to go.  LM

@Lilysmom1  Geez I envy your patience and tenacity for taking on such a big project.  I could never do it.  I hope we get to see the finished product!

@Mom2Dogs , yes.  The cold weather struck this morning.  At freezing level so time to get the wood stove going and the quilting on!  LM

@Lilysmom1 This brings back lots of good memories for myself.  My momma owned quilting frames and we would set it up in the winter and leave it!  We made a butterfly, double wedding ring, dutch doll, farmer boy with overalls, tulip quilt, a star quilt and others.  My momma taught me many things in north Mississippi except how to get over her loss.  Have fun quilting as it is a perfect winter project!
