I need some advise from those of you that have had new shingles put on your house, please & thank you
In a couple of weeks, the roofers are coming. When we signed the contract, it advised that we take down anything hanging on the walls and remove items from shelves.
I live in a two story house and have several china cabinets both upstairs and on the main level. I intend to protect my most valuable items and I will remove anything that is obviously likely to fall but my question to you is, how bad does it get?
Should I really be concerned for the items on the main level or is it really just the top floor that takes the brunt of the vibration?
I would really appreciate anyone sharing their experience with me because I have never had a roof replaced before and I'm not quite sure what to expect.
Did you have items fall?
Thank you!
