Re: Question About Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths

I use the cloths with various cleansers....not just water.

Re: Question About Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths

Thanks for all the tips! I found 3M microfiber lens cleaning cloths on Amazon, good for eyeglasses, binoculars, camera lenses, etc. A 5 pack is around $12.00.

Re: Question About Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths

I machine wash mine with laundry detergent. I also bleach them along with my towels. I use that bleach that isn't as harmful to clothing by Clorox. I can't think of the name right now.

I use mine for light cleaning and gross cleaning, so I want mine CLEAN. I don't use fabric softener on them.

Re: Question About Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths

I got a lot of them in a Don Aslett order. They are small so I picked one of the 4 or 5 colors and designated them for face cloths. They're great for exfoliating and keep my skin soft. I use one and throw it in the laundry. Great for this purpose and not too rough or harsh.

Check the automotive department at Walmart. They have a large pack of large extra thick ones. Love mine and use them a lot.

Re: Question About Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths

Costco has a huge pack of great microfiber cloths in the automotive section. I use some for washing and drying the car, cleaning the inside, etc but the others live in the kitchen and are wonderful for drying dishes, mopping the floor, dusting furniture, etc. they were so cheap and are such good quality.

Re: Question About Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths

I buy my microfiber cleaning cloths in the car washing isle. You all may already be aware of this but you get a pack of 12 @ a fraction of the cost.

Re: Question About Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths

The finger-size "Fuzzy Wuzzy" actually "filled in" a scratch on the surface of my cell phone! Thought I was imagining it... but no, it really did. That loop style has qualities that attract negative charges on dirt and dust. And when washed, they retain properties.

I am wondering if the oils on the surface were "spread into" the scratch and filled it in? Maybe they work on CD's? We'll see. They work great on mirrors so far, too.
