No bashing here ! I love Christmas and wish it was all year !! Look forward to Christmas in July and to see what Valerie will bring. I sure hope she offers those beautiful reindeer again, the set that are like a pewter color.... gold/silver combo. I have one set that I was lucky to get last year, they sold out so fast, but want to pick up a couple more sets. There are just awesome !! Time is really flying it seems, too fast actually ! I think it will be on the weekend cause the 25th is a Friday I think.

You probably already know this but in case you don't CIJ is the 19th and 20th. But they are having a preview on July 1st. I don't know what they will be showing and I don't know if they will have event pricing. So I hope you get to watch both.

July is just too early in the year for Christmas products. I never watch and never will watch or buy. I'd like Christmas in September much better. A show just after Labor Day when everyone's looking forward to fall and then the holidays farther out would be perfect.

You'll be missing out on all the New product and pricing that they offer for that weekend only. Just saying. Everything that they show later in the year is all the left overs from CIJ. Granted, they do bring a few new things later to keep people coming back, but not many.

No bashing from me. It's to early for me. I tend to not start until the month of October. It's different programming and so many people seem to enjoy it so more power to the early shoppers.

Re: QVC Christmas in July 2014

You're all welcome! I'm a little excited about tomorrows shows.

I'm a big Christmas fan. There is something about that time of year that just makes me happy. Even last year when my oldest fur baby was really sick and I knew he wasn't going to make it (the vet said he was 80-81 years old), I was happy when I was shopping and listening to music in the car or admiring the lights. Don't get me wrong I was / am devastated and blubbering when I held him and took care of him. {#emotions_dlg.crying} But somehow the happy spirit of Christmas was still there to keep me going.

I listen to Christmas music year round. Both iTunes downloads / CD uploads and on iHeartRadio. By the way, if you are the same way iHeartRadio has a Christmas station, Christmas Lites or Christmas 365. By chance I was listening to that station around mid-night on Dec 1 when they normally switch over to regular music (kind of a "end" of the season for me) and they kept playing. I thought it was mistake. I came back later in Jan and it was still playing. Then I heard to station name. To find it, go onto your iHeartRadio, swipe to the right and tap [Live Radio], scroll down to [Holiday], it's the top one. Or if you're on your computer, go to www.iheartradio.com and do the same thing. They play everything Christmas music 24 / 7. Not only does it make me perk up a little, it's good cleaning music since I think of family coming over and me makes me want to clean a little better. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Will anyone be DVRing any of it? I ask because every year they play this one song that I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. The Macy*s Thanksgiving Day Parade uses it going into a comerical and I like the song. I asked last year on Facebook but no one knew what it was. It's a brass instrumental that kind of sounds like Carol of the Bells. I'll write down the time and when it was used for quick reference.

Direct link to the Christmas station; iHeartRadio (it'll open a new window) Just click

    an ad will start playing first, then the song. Enjoy. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

I'm going to a baby girl baby shower. I had boys so no doll purchases for me. With the shower, I have a reason/excuse.

For several years I've watched the Christmas cabbage patch offers from Q and they are just to cute. My favorite was the elf. Bring on the elf I have someone to buy it for.

I like Christmas in July, it seems like they've reduced it compared to previous years

They just played that song at 7am when Dan was taking her photo. It drives me crazy what is it? I've asked for about 3 years and no one knows. Come on QVC you have to know what tracks are played when!!!

Re: QVC Christmas in July 2014

3 words - I am appalled. I hate Christmas in December almost as much as I absolutely DESPISE Christmas in July or any other month.

Sorry - I just hate this holiday and EVERYTHING commercial about it. Selling & buying IS NOT AT ALL what this particular holiday season is all about. Selling & buying is exactly why I despise this holiday and for EVERY company out there who thinks it's okay to start the selling & buying of STUFF now THROUGH December to give to others is ludicrous.

My Christmas wish for all of you is to WRAP your ARMS around those you cherish and tell them how much you CARE for them solely.

It is not at all about the chuck o' change that you spent on them that they'll not even remember one month later when your bills start rolling in. This DOES NOT MAKE Christmas.
