It's a nice room, but for some reason, I just dont care for it.....it looks more like a staged room in a furniture store...it lacks "something"...............

Lovely room.  I think I would have used a smaller rug.....maybe under the coffee table.  Would love to see more of that beautiful wood floor!

I love this room.  I'd spend much of my time there.  Love all the natural light & the complete atmosphere of the room.  Very relaxing & cheerful.

EDIT:  I meant to say @wilma I agree with you on the floor.  I'd love to see a slate floor here.

One must be careful with windows, hopefully the people that originally built the house were.  Take into account the heat generated by the sun if it is not blocked by trees or other houses.  Also, at certain times of the year you will get the sun shining directly into your eyes. Our future neighbor is in the process of building a house, he really doesn't live there yet.  From where his floor to ceiling windows are, I'm afraid he will have a terrible heat problem.
