Yes, simple and pretty. I like the pagoda - or whatever it is - in the background.

And thank you for the reminder.  I need to cut some branches off my winterberry holly.  A vase full is a nice addition to my Christmas decor.

@ValuSkr  I'm going to clip some Nandina berries in a week or so...

I love tabletop vignettes and this one is quite nice. I like that the deer is not overdressed!

How do you get your nandina sprigs to last, @stevieb ?

Mine seem to fall apart too quickly.

@GingerPeach  I've not had much luck getting either springs of holly or nandina to last so what I do is just snip the nandina berries and mix them in with other greenery that lasts a bit longer or sometimes just put a mass of berries in a stubby crystal vase. The berries last a pretty long time. When I do snip springs, I count on replacing them after a few days.

It's beautiful but I would never put a vase full of water on any table in my house.

This is more my style.  It doesn't scream Christmas, but is more a nod to the season.  I love it.

I love it.  It would add a nice punch of color while being festive as well.  Some many places it would create a nice, simple display.
